After messing around with the TPG and getting it sorta running.. It certainly is a mess.

It was all original. Pretty sure the dust was from the 80’s too.. No damage and it cleaned up nicely.

Installing 33 capacitors took some time. Only my WG7203 had more.

When I recap a monitor – I like to measure them as they come out to see if they were out of spec. This Sanyo EZ had 11 of 33 that were completely bad or out out of spec. The filter cap on the left disintegrated. Explains the flag waving on the monitor – I’m still surprised it ran at all with this many bad ones..

This is MUCH better. Monitor works!
